Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
Chayantra collects only what it needs to run your practice tests, keep your results and answer your questions. We do not sell your personal data or show third-party advertising.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and password when you create an account. Passwords are handled by our authentication service and are never stored in readable form.
- Profile details you choose to add: display name, phone number, city, state, target exam, target year and preferred language.
- Practice activity: the tests you start, your answers, time taken, scores and results, so you can review attempts and track progress.
- Sign-in records: the time of each successful sign-up and sign-in, used to understand how the service is used. These records do not include passwords, email addresses or IP addresses.
- Messages you send us: the contact and careers forms open an email to hello@chayantra.com in your own mail app, so we receive whatever you include in that email.
- Technical logs: like most websites, our servers may record basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and request time for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To run mock tests and topic tests, save your progress and show your results and answer review.
- To keep you signed in, protect accounts and send password-reset emails you request.
- To answer your questions and improve our tests and guides.
We do not use your data for third-party advertising and we do not sell it.
Sharing
We share personal data only with service providers that host and operate Chayantra on our behalf, such as our hosting and email providers, and only as needed to run the service, or when the law requires it. If you contact us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own privacy policy also applies to that conversation.
How long we keep it
We keep account, profile and practice data while your account is active, and guest practice data for a limited period. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your choices and rights
You can view and update your profile in your student settings. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by emailing hello@chayantra.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
